VR Taster Session

Get ready to be amazed by a collection of VR experiences here in your local library! Supported by the BFI and National Lottery, a national VR tour will visit our libraries with a programme of VR experiences, including: Wallace & Gromit in the Grand Getaway The Grand Getaway will take old-time fans and newcomers, on an exciting and immersive adventure with much-loved characters Wallace and Gromit. The Philharmonia Virtual Orchestra - The Lark Ascending:  Enjoy the beautifully mesmerising music of The Lark Ascending with superstar soloist, violinist Nicola Benedetti. Phase Space - Calm Phase Space is a multi-sensory experience that provides stress and anxiety relief, using the power of VR to transport you to a place where you can relax and re-set your mind. Laika - the graphic novel adaptation following the true story of earth’s first space traveller – Laika the dog.  Sir David Attenborough’s 'Hold the World' - an interactive VR journey with Sir David Attenborough at the Natural History Museum where you can discover rare specimens, fascinating stories and the wonders of nature!
